Responsibilities:

As the Automotive Sales Manager, you will be responsible for:

  • Leadership Development: Cultivating a strong, cohesive, and motivated sales team by providing ongoing guidance, coaching, and mentorship to ensure each team member reaches their full potential.
  • Culture of Excellence: Fostering a culture of excellence, professionalism, and customer-centricity within the sales department. Encouraging a customer-first mindset and setting high performance standards for the team to consistently exceed sales targets and customer satisfaction goals.
  • Sales Strategy: Developing and implementing strategic sales plans to drive revenue growth and increase market share. Analyzing sales data and market trends to identify opportunities for improvement and expansion.
  • Training and Onboarding: Designing and implementing comprehensive training programs for new and existing sales team members to enhance their product knowledge, selling techniques, and customer service skills.
  • Performance Evaluation: Monitoring and evaluating the performance of the sales team regularly. Providing constructive feedback and recognition to individuals and the team as a whole to promote continuous improvement and maintain high morale.
  • Customer Relations: Ensuring that customer interactions are handled professionally and resolving any escalated issues promptly to uphold the dealership's reputation for exceptional customer service.
  • Collaboration: Collaborating with other departments, such as finance and service, to create a seamless and efficient customer journey that enhances overall customer satisfaction and loyalty.
  • Sales Forecasting: Working closely with the General Manager to set realistic sales targets and forecasting sales volumes accurately. Regularly reporting on sales performance and presenting data-driven insights to aid in strategic decision-making.

Qualifications:

  • Proven Sales Management Experience: Demonstrated success in automotive sales management or a related field with a strong track record of meeting and exceeding sales targets.
